Detroit Electric is back & Producing the fastest electric car ever!
Some may be to young to remember, but the first electric car ever to be put into production was in 1907 by William C. Anderson and Detroit Electric. These cars began production and a total of 13,000 electric cars were sold until 1939 when petrol engines became cheaper and stronger. Decades later Detroit Electric is back and stronger than ever with their new model distinguished SP:01.
For a mere $130,000 you can own this limited-edition, two seater and blaze to an impressive top speed of 155MPH! The real number for most consumers, the 0-60 time, comes in at a 3.7 seconds!
Talk about fast and environmentally friendly! The SP:01 is a rear wheel drive sports car the has a mid-mounted 200bhp electric motor to go along with carbon fiber bodywork that brings in the total weight to a mere 2,400 pounds. A full charge will take about 8 hours when the lithium-polymer batteries juices finally run out from too much back road driving. Production for this amazing vehicle has started this August and the company is further looking to create vehicles that will be more in the $45,000 range by the end of next year!
BOOM! Take that Mustang and Camaro!

Will we soon be able to Travel across the country in less then an hour?
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has caused commotion throughout the social media world with his proposed "Hyperloop" transportation system. Powered by Solar Power, this pneumatic tube transportation system will be able to shuttle passengers between two major cities faster and cheaper than airlines or high speed rail.
Musk claims that the project would be able to shuttle passengers from LA to San Francisco in less than 30 minutes. More about this project will be released in the future but there is talk that the future may be more incredible than we think.
Evacuated Tube Transportation Technology, is a global transportation system that is silent, low cost, fast, safe, and environmentally friendly and may allow passengers to get from New York City to LA in less than an hour for ONLY $20.
More about ET3 can be found here and believe us, its mind blowing. Talks of a trip to China in less than two hours would dramatically change the way people travel and eliminate the need of burning fuels. Check our website often as we will release the time and place for the ET3 Conference right here at www.forglobalchange.com
Coca-Cola goes Green with new bottle made partially from Plants!
Yes you read that correctly... introducing Coca-Cola's very own Frankenstein like creation, the Plant Bottle. The Plant Bottle is the first ever recyclable PET plastic beverage bottle made partially from plants! Although the packaging looks and functions the same and the bottle recycles just like traditional PET plastic, it does so with a lighter footprint on the planet!
Coco-Cola intends to make this the "Bottle of the Future" and hopes to transition all of their plastic packaging to Plant Bottle packaging or other packaging that uses renewable and recyclable content materials. Currently the bottle is available in 11 countries, the United States not being one of them. Coca-Cola does plans to expand these bottles to different countries around the world in the near future.
